After nine successful annual sports championships, they are back with the next edition of the much-awaited sports extravaganza, which will give young talents in India a platform to showcase their skills across various sports.

With the objective to Spearhead the development and deployment of sports technology, SFA has changed the sports scenario at various levels. The nine editions of the inter-school, multi-sport championship held across six years saw participation from over 130,000 students and over 2,700 schools. The upcoming SFA championship, touted to be among the country’s biggest school sporting events, will be held from October 8 to 22.

We are using Tech to revolutionize sports at the grassroot level in India. The schools and children of Hyderabad will get access to the same kind of personalized digital profiles, match insights and statistics that we have provided for the athletes of the Khelo India Games. By giving our young athletes access to wearable technology and comprehensive data about their own performances along with their match videos, we are paving the way for them to pursue their sporting dreams and perform to their full potential”, says Samera Khan, Chief Marketing Officer.

Ahead of the two-week-long tournament, SFA is organizing a special Meets’ to recognize and honour the Principals and the Coaches, who are the driving forces behind these talents.  Their support at the school level creates an encouraging ecosystem which motivates the athletes to push their boundaries. SFA values that, and this meet intends to recognize and honour their undeterred support to students.

The upcoming SFA’s championship which will start around 8th October 2022, brings along with it many prizes of up to Rs 1,00,000, and Rs. 25000 for maximum gold medals across different sports (for each boy and girl).
