Jediiians Got Talent 2025 – A Celebration of Art, Passion, and Performance

At JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru, design has never been limited to the studio. It transcends sketchbooks and fabrics — to movement, voice, performance, and emotion. It is, in fact, about expression — the kind that is bold, authentic, and human. That approach stole the show at Jediiians Got Talent 2025, the annual cultural celebration that translates creative energy into performing art.

Organised at Prabhath Kala Sambrama, the event brought together students from all design disciplines and basked in what JD is all about: creativity, team spirit, and courage to be different. Not a talent show but an avocation of self, the evening offered the diversity and colour of the JD community by soulful musical performances, riveting dance performances, and stage plays. Each and every move was a story — some subtle, some bold, but all fabulously imaginative.

The cultural celebration was imbued with the energy and warmth of youth. The auditorium throbbed with rhythm and colour as students presented a range of talents — music that moved the heart, dances that spun a story, and martial arts routines that combined strength and beauty. What made each of these performances stand out was not really the skill but the intention behind it. Every performer brought the message of “Bold” through his or her own eyes, interpreting imagination into voice, sound, and movement.

In his address to the gathering, Mr Nealesh Dalal, Managing Trustee of JD Educational Trust and Founder of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, captured the tone of the evening in his few words. He said, “Although we always knew this to be true, students being given the opportunity to live it in shows like this is our reminder along the way.” His words were a reflection of one of the underlying JD philosophies — that school isn’t necessarily the only place one learns, but rather discovering and living their own creative voice.

The evening was not all about performance; it was also about recognition. As the audience clapped and cheered, the institute honoured its academic toppers of the Bengaluru City University exams. Among the B.Sc. Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) 2021 batch, the 1st Rank was given to Tisha N. Jain, a moment of pride for the student as well as her teachers. B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design (FAD) 2021 students too made the institute proud — Prerana S. V. was 4th Rank, Prerana Jain and K. K. Manasa were 5th Rank, Deepthi Lunia was 8th, Rishika P was 9th, and D. Sanjana was 10th.

Their success is a reflection of JD’s philosophy of balance — of intellectual rigour being balanced by creative inquiry. Success at JD Institute of Fashion Technology is realised as a shared goal — a product of mentorship, collaboration, and shared effort. Every success achieved by a student is a reflection of the culture that enables experimentation and learning, within and outside the classroom.

By the end of the evening, it was one of pride and inspiration.  Jediiians Got Talent 2025 reminded all who had come that design is not just visual or physical in nature. It is, in fact, a mode of thinking, communicating, and existing. It is the courage to express, to be risky, and to be unapologetically expressive.

Through these efforts, JD Institute of Fashion Technology continues to raise a new generation of creative thinkers who don’t just design environments or products — they design experiences, emotions, and narratives. Each performing student, each winner who was awarded, contributed to a larger narrative — the narrative of JD’s commitment to developing people who are as much thinkers and doers, producers and performers.

As the lights dimmed and applause erupted in the air, one thing was clear — the next generation of designers is not only ready to enter the design world; they are set to redefine it. Jediiians Got Talent 2025 was not just a fest — it was the embodiment of all that JD stands for: creativity, courage, and relentless seeking of expression.
