Goa, [India]: Shruti Ajay, a mother, homemaker, skating coach, former radio jockey, Biology and English lecturer, author and wellness counsellor from Goa, has added another feather to her cap – First Runner-up at the prestigious Aura Mrs India 2023 pageant. This multi-talented lady from Goa, crowned “Aura Mrs Goa 2023″ earlier, impressed judges with her grace, quirky wit, and unwavering dedication to social causes.

Shruti’s journey to the national stage began with her passion for empowering women. As a wellness counsellor, she works tirelessly to improve the lives of underprivileged female workers in Goa. She provides proper nutrition and counselling, breath work, meditation techniques and stretches to them, believing that healthy women build happy families and, in turn, a more comfortable state. This dedication earned her the “Aura Mrs Goa 2023” title.
Mrs Intelligent and Mrs Best Ramp Walk
Her intelligence and quick wit shone at the national competition, winning her the “Mrs Intelligent” title. Her confident demeanour and captivating stage presence, showcased through her impeccable ramp walk, also earned her the “Mrs Best Ramp Walk” title.

Participants hailing from states such as Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Bengal, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and other regions competed in this nationwide spectacle.
Talent Beyond Beauty: A Poet, Performer, and Eco-Vist
As a budding poet, she captivated a niche audience with her poetry book series, Yakamoz – Musings of My Heart (a mixture of Urdu and English) and the 21st-century Emily Dickinson award-winning book Yakamoz – Musings and Learning (written in English) showcased her versatility and depth.
Shruti is also a passionate environmental advocate. She sheds light on a local issue: locals and tourists’ careless disposal of glass bottles at trekking spots. These broken shards end up in paddy fields, endangering farmers and their workers who tend the crops barefoot. Shruti’s Voice aims to raise awareness and encourage responsible local and tourism practices.
