Built From the Ground Up: How Two Founders Turned Empty Spaces into a Thriving Hospitality Empire

Shree Shyam Health and Hospitality Pvt Ltd celebrates five years of creating self-sustaining, experience-first ventures

When the world shut down in 2020, Akansha Jain and Arpit Singhal found themselves with empty rental properties and a stark choice, wait for things to recover or build something new. They chose the latter. What followed was not just the launch of a business, but the creation of a deeply personal, people-first brand: Shree Shyam Health and Hospitality Pvt Ltd.

From hands-on roles, manning reception desks, mopping floors, training staff the duo built their ventures from the ground up. “We didn’t just run the businesses. We worked in them, with full sleeves rolled up,” shares Akansha. “Those early days shaped the culture we have today where systems matter, but people matter more.”

Their first success, Hotel Mystic Falls, offered a unique blend of design and calm, with interiors inspired by nature and an emphasis on slow living. Guests experience more than just a stay, they’re offered curated moments like candlelight dinners, in-room wellness setups, and tailored weekend retreat packages that draw repeat visitors from across India.

Venturing into wellness, they launched Cult.fit partner gyms designed to support long-term lifestyle changes. “We weren’t here to sell memberships. We wanted to build confidence,” Arpit notes. With certified trainers, transformation challenges, and habit-focused memberships like off-peak training and reward-based extensions, the gyms became known for results-driven fitness.

Next came Cayo Kitchen & Bar, a vibrant yet intimate space for comfort dining and celebration. With global-influenced cuisine and a signature cocktail menu, it quickly became Jaipur’s preferred venue for private events and social evenings. “Food is emotional,” says Akansha. “We wanted every guest to feel they belonged, no matter the occasion.”

But the real achievement, they say, is not the success of individual outlets but the systems and teams now running them. “We’ve reached a point where our presence isn’t needed daily. That’s the power of building right from training to trust,” Arpit shares.

Shree Shyam Health and Hospitality is not just a company; it’s a movement driven by resilience, structure, and empathy. The founders believe their journey is proof that you don’t need to have it all figured out to start, you need courage, consistency, and clarity of intent.

Their story stands as a reminder that strong businesses aren’t built overnight, they’re built with people who believe in purpose over perfection.
